Settings

Admin → Settings isn’t one screen. It’s eight, listed down a rail on the left in two groups. Click a name and that tab fills the rest of the page.

Your account and what it’s connected to.

Tab What it’s for
Account Who you’re signed in as, which GoHighLevel sub-account you dial from, and the health of your contacts sync
Calling The city your agents should appear to call from
Billing Your subscription, your seats, and your phone-number credits
Spam Protection Registering your business with the carriers so your numbers don’t get labelled “Spam Likely”

Four lists the rest of the app reads from.

Tab What it’s for
Dispositions The outcomes an agent picks when they wrap up a call
Transfers Named destinations agents can send a caller to mid-call
Attributes Who’s eligible to take which inbound calls
Media Library Your greetings, spoken messages and hold music

Nothing in the Call handling group does anything on its own. Each one is a list you fill in once, and other screens pick from it:

  • A campaign’s Hold music field offers your Media Library hold-music clips, plus the built-in Default loop.
  • An agent’s wrap-up picker in the dialer offers your dispositions, and nothing else.
  • The Presets tab of an agent’s transfer panel offers your transfer presets.
  • An agent’s attributes are ticked per person under Users → Attributes, from the list you build here.

So the order of work is: set these up here first, then go configure the campaign, number or user that uses them. A campaign whose message field shows nothing to pick usually means the Media Library is empty, not that the campaign is broken.

There’s no single Save changes button across Settings, the way there is on a campaign. Each card commits on its own — a business-details form has its own Save, a plan change has its own Confirm change, and the four reference lists save one row at a time as you close each dialog.
